The worst towing experience of my life. Honestly I have no idea who these guys think they are.

If you're on the 10 FWY and you see a Sonic Towing truck walk in the other direction. These guys will damage your alignment, hurt your paint and vehicle - and they don't care one bit about safety.

Where did the old AAA Tow Truck Drivers go? Where did the common courtesy go? Seriously, who hired these idiots?

Disclaimer: My Wife and I are Blue Dahlia "addicts"...

The newly relaunched Blue Dahlia has incredibly fresh Paninis, fantastic wine selections, and unique Vegetarian delicacies (for my Wife). Did I also mention awesome coffee and desserts?

This place used to be the old 'Insol Cafe' (which was rarely open and served mediocre food). Now under new ownership the Blue Dahlia has been re-born into a true "Top Notch" Arts District 'casual' dining experience.

I love the Barolo Braised Burgers (Mmmmmm - Beef ShortRib and Duck Confit burger combos, anyone else interested?). Blue Dahlia is a great place to relax, surf the web, grab a nice Italian coffee and enjoy. The back patio is secluded, romantic and has a NY vibe...check it out!

This place used to be a Specialty Crab restaurant that is now a amazing Steak House. My Wife and I were walking by, and a few friends from our Building we're leaving and they told us about the "Ladies Special" for $20 USD. (I have to admit, even I wanted to the 'Ladies Special' after hearing about the incredible deal - thanks Alex!)

You get your choice of a NY Strip or Ribeye with one "a la cart" item (think decadent sushi, or beef and shrimp spring rolls etc...), including soup+salad+entree+dessert...YUM!

Did I mention all of this was a "Prix Fix" of only $20 dollars? Service is great, mood is relaxed/quaint and clean decor.

If your around Honda Plaza in Lil-Tokyo for dinner and need a good recommendation, I urge you to check it out.

*UPDATE: My Wife and I went back last night, and they had increased the the prices over 50%! Very saddened to see this quaint, and well priced place go "upscale"

I must admit, I really enjoy the "LA Frozo-Yogu Shootout" that is going on, but I think personally we have found a winner. Between Pink Berry, CeFiore, Cantaloop, and the dozen other copy-cats, the C'Loop wins hands down, adn this is why:

First the Yogurt is awesome, perfectly sweet and sour, and they have a variety of flavors from blueberry to pomegranate (yum!). Their service is top notch with a modern decor, and it's walking distance from my office (as is a PinkBerry).

Cantaloop rocks, and it's pretty low-key parking (unlike most of their competitors) - check it out when you get a chance...

I agree with others about the Strawberry Cake experience, but the other goodies are to die for. For instance they have one of the most dense and amazing custard filled chocolate clair I have ever had.

This is not your average clair, because it must weigh at least .5 lbs - you need two hands to manage it (it's served on a small plate with a fork!). And, I know what your thinking, is it bland, is it just filler? Nope, it's super creamy, dreamy custard'y goodness, all nestled between buttery pastry dough glazed in chocolate....mmmm

Need I say more?

Check it out, and imho, skip the Strawberry Cake and go for the Choco-clair Gold!

The new park is a absolute GEM!

I went there today and rode my bike for over 2 hours, the landscapers were finishing up installation of all the sprinklers, the grass is as green as can be, and the atmosphere is mellow. I really like this park, it is MUCH better than the Cornfield was...internal walking trails, a perimeter trail, and lots of space.

Check it out if you get a chance, it's footsteps from the Chinatown Metro station as well...so convenient.

Thanks LA Parks and Recreation, this project is a winner!

SO DISAPPOINTED!

They cannot deliver a arrangement to save their lives. I am so bitter today, I just dropped over $120+ USD on my Wifes floral arrangement and it's been 6+ hours and it is still not delivered!

My Wife is going to go home, without her flowers, and without her husbands Birthday Wishes. I hope to god they read this and do something to improve their customer servicing and expectations.

What a waste of money, I should of stuck to Jacob Maarse as they KNOW how to deliver results not unfulfilled promises.

WARNING - MARKS GARDEN IS NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!

Having just visited the Marina today, I was very impressed. Wilmington is a huge industrial port, and there are a few 'gem' marinas scattered throughout, at a hefty discount from San Pedro.

The Manager Jerry is really a great guy, and he is very personable as well. He showed us the entire location, and was very inviting. We would highly recommend anyone to check this 'hidden gem" out, it's really a nice  Marina. Not 4 star, but clean, full amenities, and no frills. Just what the Doctor ordered.

Dr Dickey is amazing, and I would never go to another OD ever. Seriously his attention to detail, and desire to get your prescription right are unmatched. My wife has a 'tricky' prescription and Dr Dickey always makes sure she is happy with the results. Bravo, and please keep up the good work.

Even if I moved out of the area, I would still visit Dr Dickey to ensure my eyes are healthy and performing at their best.
